Katie & Richard's Charlotte Wedding at Romantic Alexander Homestead

It was such an honor to capture Katie and Richard's Charlotte wedding. Katie happens to be my cousin, so I've watched her grow up right before my eyes into a stunning young woman and now a bride. I couldn't be happier for her and Richard. The ceremony was held at the timeless Covenant Presbyterian Church in the heart of the Queen city. This was a special location for her because not only was it her childhood church, but it was also where her mom got married. The day couldn't have gone any smoother without coordinator Christi West. Katie wore a beautiful wedding dress by Paloma Blanca bagand shoes by Badgley Mischka. Bridesmaids wore dusty blue dresses and adorned flowers by Kelilabee Flower with shades of dusty blue, blush pink and ivory. Richard and the groomsmen looked sharp in their tux's from Ted Baker. Following the romantic ceremony, guests were shuttled to Alexander Homestead, where the DJ, All the Right Grooves, kept the party going. I am honored to have attended and captured Katie and Richard's wedding. Congratulations you two!

Modern & Romantic Wedding at Durham's Cookery

Erin and Scott tied the knot in one of my favorite industrial Durham venues, the Cookery - with attention to detail like no other. From the colorful flowers from Petals on the Go and the welcoming chalkboard by Chalkboards by Julie, to the place cards created by the mother of the groom with champagne tops she's collected over the years. Emily looked radiant in her Lis Simon wedding gown and shoes by Badgley Mischka and hair by Wedding Hair by Liz. The successful coordination couldn't have been possible without the talents of Emily Thomas and her team from Emily Katherine Events. The ceremony was sweet and romantic and officiated by Kathie McCutcheon. Following the ceremony, guests mingled during cocktail hour and later enjoyed a delicious feast from Snap Pea Catering and cake by Love Cake. Everyone danced the night away as DJ Rang kept the party going with tunes old and new. Congratulations Erin and Scott!
